Purpose of the Role:

To manage the shift operation & direct staff. To ensure the smooth running of the production process. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications. Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders.

Typical Responsibilities:

• To ensure safety of people including contract workmen, environment, machines, PPE compliance throughout the shift.
• Give desired production with the existing resources by efficient allocation of the manpower & optimum utilization of machineries.
• In First shift ensure adequate material issue done according to plan for the following two shift to avoid any shortage of RM.
• Routine reconciliation of input, output & waste per shift. Ensure the timely declaration of production.
• Follow the work instruction/SOP & maintain the required documents of EHS, Process & Quality.
• Maintain good housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Training for the new contract joinee.
• Following and maintaining QMS/ EMS documentation (Records, procedures, SOP revision etc.)
• Maintaining Displays and data on Production floor every day.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement best practices on shopfloor from OPEX standards.
• In absence of Quality person online inspection/ lab testing shall be done by production Shift InCharge. Do not release the product for further process without testing/ inspection.
• Shift In charge is authorized to stop the line based on quality or process concern
