Job Purpose

To supervise and control daily production activities in a Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) manufacturing facility, ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and on-time delivery as per drawings and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities1. Production & Planning

• Execute daily and weekly production plans as per schedule
• Coordinate with Design / Tekla / Planning teams
• Ensure fabrication sequence matches erection priority

2. Shop Floor Supervision

• Supervise fabrication of:
• Built-up sections (columns, rafters)
• Purlins, girts, bracings
• Plates, base plates, cleats
• Monitor cutting, drilling, welding, and assembly processes

3. Manpower Management

• Allocate fitters, welders, helpers, and machine operators
• Monitor attendance, shift hours, and overtime
• Ensure optimum manpower utilization

4. Quality Control

• Ensure fabrication as per Tekla shop drawings
• Check dimensions, camber, hole alignment, welding quality
• Reduce rework and material wastage

5. Machine & Process Control

• Supervise CNC cutting, drilling machines, beam welding lines
• Ensure proper machine usage and basic maintenance coordination

6. Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce PPE usage and safety rules
• Maintain clean and safe shop floor conditions

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with QC, Stores, Dispatch, Erection teams
• Prepare and submit:
• Daily production report
• Manpower & OT report
• Material consumption report

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of PEB steel structures
• Ability to read and understand Tekla drawings
• Welding, fabrication, and steel detailing knowledge
• Basic computer skills (Excel, reports)
• Good leadership and communication skills

Qualification

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years experience in PEB / structural steel fabrication

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
