Job Title: Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) EngineerJob Summary The Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, detailing, and coordination of steel PEB structures in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. The role involves close coordination with sales, fabrication, erection, and project management teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of PEB projects. Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering Perform structural analysis and design of PEB structures (frames, purlins, girts, bracings, crane beams, mezzanines, etc.) Prepare and review design calculations in accordance with relevant codes (AISC, MBMA, IS, ASCE, Eurocode, etc.) Optimize steel weight and member sizing for cost-effective solutions Design connections and review shop drawings Detailing & Documentation Prepare approval drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication drawings Review and check detailing outputs for accuracy and constructability Prepare material take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ) Project Coordination Coordinate with sales, project managers, architects, and consultants Address client and consultant comments during approval stages Provide technical support during fabrication and erection stages Resolve site-related technical issues and design modifications Quality & Compliance Ensure designs comply with company standards, client specifications, and statutory codes Assist in internal and external audits related to engineering quality Maintain proper engineering documentation and revision control Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering 2–8 years of experience in Pre-Engineered Building design (experience level can be adjusted) Strong knowledge of steel structures and PEB systems Technical Skills Proficiency in PEB software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla, MBS, Zamil, Kirby, or similar ) AutoCAD (mandatory); Tekla Structures preferred Knowledge of international and local design codes Understanding of fabrication and erection processes Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects Attention to detail and quality orientation Work Environment Office-based with occasional site visits Collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, erection) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location: In person
