Production Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities Operate and monitor the Jar Formation area in battery manufacturing. Perform routine equipment maintenance and coordinate for breakdown resolution. Maintain quality standards by implementing in-process quality checks and root cause analysis. Prepare and maintain detailed production and quality records . Supervise machine operators, assign tasks, and ensure shift productivity targets . Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, EHS guidelines , and statutory norms. Conduct safety awareness and training sessions for shopfloor teams. Analyse downtime and efficiency data to reduce losses and improve OEE . Maintain shopfloor discipline and 5S standards Preferred Candidate Profile B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in battery manufacturing or similar process industries. Experience in Jar Formation (Preffered) or Formation Line operations preferred. Strong understanding of machine maintenance, quality checks , and production KPIs . Ability to manage operators and work in rotational shifts . Familiar with EHS protocols , ISO standards, and safety audits. Proficient in basic Excel, MIS reporting , and daily production tracking.
