Core Objective Ensure safe, efficient, and timely production meeting quantity, cost, and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Execution Plan daily/shift-wise production as per schedule Allocate manpower, machines, and materials Monitor production output vs targets Minimize downtime, wastage, and rework Manpower Management Supervise operators and technicians Assign jobs and ensure skill-based deployment Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity Conduct on-the-job training for new operators Process & Equipment Control Ensure machines are set and operated as per SOP Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance Implement 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices Safety & Compliance Enforce safety rules and PPE usage Identify and report unsafe conditions Ensure compliance with statutory and internal safety requirements Reporting & Coordination Maintain production reports, shift logs, and downtime records Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Planning teams Escalate production issues to management
