Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor with a background in furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production activities, manage the shop floor team, maintain quality standards, and ensure on-time completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the daily operations on the production floor.
• Allocate tasks and manage workforce (carpenters, machine operators, helpers) as per production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards for modular and custom furniture products.
• Coordinate with the design and planning team for understanding product drawings and specifications.
• Maintain machine utilization and monitor workflow for efficient output.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure product accuracy, finishing, and measurements.
• Manage raw material usage and report shortages or delays to the production manager.
• Track daily production output and prepare production status reports.
• Enforce safety rules and cleanliness within the workshop.
• Provide technical guidance and training to new workers if needed.
• Coordinate with the dispatch and installation team for timely delivery.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in furniture or woodworking production.
• Good knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, hardware, and tools.
• Ability to read shop drawings and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong team management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/Word); familiarity with ERP systems (like Odoo) is a plus.
• Problem-solving ability and hands-on approach to resolving floor-level issues.

Educational Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Wood Technology, Furniture Production, or equivalent technical background.

Preferred:

• Experience with modular furniture production and operation of panel saws, edge banding, and CNC machines.
