Production Specialist

Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with design and web files using software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Word. You will meticulously review various aspects like file format, color management, fonts, page structure, accessibility guidelines, and more to maintain the quality of our programs. Working extensively with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, you will be responsible for the fidelity of assigned project files and developing preflight profiles to meet specifications. Collaborating with design, digital, and product teams is essential to align project requirements and deliverables. Additionally, you will create interactive PDFs, ensure compatibility across print and digital platforms, and apply information from a Style Guide. Attending project meetings, documenting important actions, and communicating effectively with supervisors, vendors, and internal teams are crucial aspects of this role. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Adobe software such as InDesign, Preflight, PitStop, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Understanding editorial markup, successful delivery of final products, and effective time management are key skills required. Managing multiple responsibilities, communicating with various stakeholders, and demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. To qualify, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, experience in Education Publishing (Print and Digital) for G K-12, and a minimum of three years of experience in design and preflight processes. The ability to learn new software, tools, and systems is also highly valued in this role.,
