Production Shift Supervisor- Printing

Role Overview: As a Manager in the Offset/Digital/Flexo printing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes of offset, digital, and flexographic printing operations. Your role will involve ensuring efficient execution, high-quality output, and effective team management. You should have a strong technical understanding of printing technologies, equipment maintenance, and production workflows to excel in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of the offset, digital, and flexographic printing processes to ensure quality standards are met. - Schedule and manage production workflows to meet deadlines and optimize resource usage. - Supervise, train, and manage a team of press operators and print technicians. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration within the team. - Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure print consistency and accuracy. - Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements. - Oversee inventory management of printing materials and coordinate with suppliers for procurement. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations in the production environment. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred. - Proven experience of 8+ years in offset, digital, and flexographic printing management. - Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment. - Familiarity with industry software for print production and job management. - Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma certification. - Previous experience in a customer-facing role, working with key accounts.,
