Job Description Position: Production Shift In-charge (Production Executive) Excipient Manufacturing Plant Department: Production Location: JRS Pharma & Gujarat Microwax Pvt. Ltd. Experience Required: 56 years Reporting To: Production Manager Role Objective To lead and manage production shift operations of Excipient manufacturing plant which is EXCiPACT-certied manufacturing plant of JRS Pharma & Gujarat Microwax Pvt. Ltd., ensuring safe, eicient, and compliant operations with focus on quality, productivity, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and control online production and packing operations in accordance with EXCiPACT standards, cGMP and FDA guidelines and company procedures. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems to ensure smooth production processes. ¢ Manage production team members during the shift to achieve daily output and eiciency targets. ¢ Ensure adherence to cGMP, EXCiPACT and FDA guidelines, SOPs, and EHS protocols. ¢ Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Engineering and EHS teams for eective shift operations as well as preventive and breakdown maintenance period. ¢ Ensure proper documentation of production logs, lling of BMR, shift handovers, and deviation reports. ¢ To ensure proper use of raw material and strict adherence to documented standard operating procedures, and process control parameters during production & packing. ¢ To obtain feedback from QC on quality trends during the shift and instruct the operators accordingly. ¢ Drive compliance in line clearance, changeover, and in-process checks. ¢ Train and mentor shift operators to enhance technical skills and ensure compliance awareness. ¢ Participate actively in internal/external audits and support CAPA implementation. ¢ Contribute to continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization initiatives. Key Skills & Competencies ¢ Expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA-controlled production environments. ¢ Operational experience of MSGL reactors, Filtration operations, Spray Dryer, Acid handing, sifter & packing machine. ¢ Strong knowledge of online production and packing operations. ¢ Hands-on experience in EXCiPACT / cGMP-regulated plants. ¢ Leadership qualities with proven team-handling ability. ¢ Good communication, Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and shift reporting abilities. Qualication & Experience ¢ B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Chemical Engineering. ¢ 56 years of relevant experience in production operations within Excipient, Pharma industries.
