Production Officer/ Packing Officer

Role & responsibilities:

1. To perform and supervise the production activity.

2. Too involved in the preparation and execution of the production plan.

3. Work distribution of the assistant officer as well as the workers.

4. Managing manpower to get maximum productivity or to achieve standard norms with quality for manufacturing.

5. Online completion and review of documentation, logbook, and cleaning record.

6. To ensure that products are produced and stored according to appropriate documentation to obtain the required quality.

7. To ensure that the production records are reviewed and signed by an authorized person before they are sent to the quality assurance department.

8. Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.

9. To give training and motivation to a team of workers.

10. Scheduling their work, disciplinary matters, identifying their training needs, and progressing their career development.

11. The monitoring of compliance with the requirements of good manufacturing practice.

12. Overall responsible for production operations (tablet & external liquid section) at G.S. Pharmbutor Modinagar’.

13. To perform and monitor process validation, calibrations, and equipment qualification activities.

14. Checks on yields and reconciliation of quantities, to ensure that there are no discrepancies outside acceptable limits.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a B.Pharm graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The candidate should have good knowledge of WHO-GMP and SOP compliance, hands-on experience in production or packing operations, and exposure to batch manufacturing or packing documentation (BMR/BPR). The role requires coordination with QA, QC, and IPQC teams, adherence to data integrity principles, and the ability to work in a shift-based shop-floor environment. Experience in oral liquid or topical/external liquid dosage forms will be an added advantage.
