Job Title: Production Officer

A Production Officer in a pharmaceutical company is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining production efficiency. Here’s an overview of the role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Operations:
• Supervise and coordinate production activities.
• Ensure that all processes adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor batch production records and maintain proper documentation.
• Quality Control & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with FDA, WHO, GMP, and ISO regulations.
• Perform in-process quality checks.
• Address deviations, change controls, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
• Process Improvement & Efficiency:
• Optimize production workflow for better efficiency.
• Reduce waste and minimize production downtime.
• Implement new technologies or processes for improved output.
• Team Management:
• Train and supervise production staff.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Inventory & Resource Management:
• Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, QA, and R&D departments.

Qualification: M.sc or B.pharma
