Production Manager - Assembly

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintaining a positive work environment is essential for employee satisfaction and retention.
• Ensuring that products or materials are efficiently stored, allocated, and replenished to meet business needs.
• Ensuring that the products delivered meet the established standards of quality.
• Planning - Demand /Forecast/Capacity Planning /Warehouse Management.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
• Defining Lean objective and metrics for all functions and driving accomplishment of all metrics.
• Ensuring that the organization adheres to all legal requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
• Full knowledge and control of all production line information: capacity, yield, quality tests and working procedures

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 15 - 20 Years of Experience in Manufacturing Industry (Preferred: Automotive Industry)
• Overseeing and optimizing the production processes and resources to ensure efficient operations. You will lead a team of dedicated employees and work collaboratively with various departments to drive excellence in production quality, efficiency, and safety to meet business needs.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience working with a minimum of 2 - 3 departments such as Quality, Planning, Maintenance, or Engineering
