Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize and oversee day-to-day production activities for
Cosmetic & Personal Care products
such as Creams, Lotions, Gels, Face Wash, Shampoo, Serum, Deo, Handwash, etc.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per the monthly / weekly plan.
Responsible for
Batch manufacturing, filling & packing operations
according to SOP.
Ensure compliance with
GMP, ISO, Cosmetic Rules 2020, Schedule-M, QA & QC standards
.
Prepare and review
Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packing Records (BPR), and line clearance
documentation.
Coordinate with
R&D, QA, QC, Maintenance & Supply Chain
to ensure smooth production.
Monitor usage of raw materials and packing materials as per approved BOQ and minimize wastage.
Train and supervise production operators & skilled manpower to maintain productivity.
Maintain production
MIS, daily reports, yield losses, machine breakdown & OEE performance
.
Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment (Homogenizer, Planetary Mixer, Vacuum Emulsifier, Shampoo manufacturing vessels, Filling/labeling machines).
Implement
Safety, 5S, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement practices
.
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization as per CIP / SIP standards and hygiene norms.
Handle audits, CAPA, root cause analysis and deviation reporting.
Maintain discipline, manpower allocation, shift handling & workplace safety.
