Job Description

Lead and manage a team of microbiologists, lab technicians, and support staff.
Assign tasks, supervise daily operations, and ensure efficient workflow.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
versee all microbiological testing and ensure adherence to protocols.
Maintain laboratory safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO, FDA).
Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality control (QC) procedures.
Ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results.
Investigate and resolve any deviations, contamination issues, or non-conformities.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies relevant to the industry.
Prepare and review documentation including SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports.
Participate in audits and inspections (internal and external).
Monitor the microbiological quality of air, water, surfaces, and raw materials.
Ensure microbial limits are maintained in products and processes.
Develop contamination control strategies.
