Production Chemist

As an experienced chemist in polyester resin manufacturing at Amura Polymers Pvt. Ltd., your main role will be to lead batch production, optimize processes, conduct quality testing, and ensure safe plant operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Carry out resin formulation and batch recipe implementation. - Operate reactors/kettles by monitoring temperature, vacuum, and acid value. - Safely handle raw materials, catalysts, and inhibitors. - Conduct QC tests including viscosity, acid value, solids, gel time, and hydroxyl value. - Optimize process efficiency, yields, and maintain batch documentation. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide guidance to operators. - Collaborate with R&D team for new product trials. - Strictly follow HSE and plant safety protocols. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-7 years of direct experience in polyester resin / UPR manufacturing. - Strong knowledge of esterification, polycondensation, and reactor operation. - Familiarity with QC testing and process calculations. - Qualification in BSc/MSc Chemistry, BE Chemical, or Diploma in Polymer Technology. - Strong communication and team leadership skills.
