Job Description

Manual Product Tester

Key Responsibilities

Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases.
Perform
functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
.
Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with detailed steps.
Track reported issues until closure and verify fixes.
Test across
different devices, browsers, and environments
.
Participate in
UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
cycles.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to align product quality with business needs.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.
0–2 years (entry-level) or 2–5 years (mid-level) experience in
manual testing
.
Strong knowledge of QA concepts, STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), and defect life cycle.
Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.).
Experience in testing
web and mobile applications
.
Basic understanding of databases and ability to run simple SQL queries (optional but preferred).
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Good communication and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to API testing tools like
Postman
(basic level).
Familiarity with cross-browser testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git).
