Product SME - Crane operations

You are an innovation-driven XR company specializing in immersive training solutions for safety-critical industries. Currently, you are expanding your VR training portfolio with a focus on crane operations and safety, encompassing cabin-based and EOT cranes. As a dedicated Full-Time Product Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Crane Operations, your primary responsibility is to lead the product lifecycle of the VR crane handling and safety training solution. This entails collaborating closely with SMEs, designers, and developers to establish the product direction, execute the roadmap, and deliver a high-quality training experience aligned with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - **Product Strategy & Roadmap** - Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for VR crane training modules. - Prioritize features, enhancements, and user stories based on client needs, safety protocols, and market demand. - **Requirements & Feature Definition** - Translate business and training objectives into clear product requirements. - Collaborate with SMEs to ensure domain accuracy and real-world relevance of crane operation and safety principles. - **Review & Quality Oversight** - Regularly review development builds and provide actionable feedback to ensure alignment with training objectives and product quality standards. - **Cross-functional Collaboration** - Work closely with XR developers, instructional designers, QA, and hardware teams. - Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required for Ideal Candidate: - SME in crane operations (both cabin-based and EOT cranes) with a strong understanding of industrial safety practices. - Experience in product ownership or product management roles, preferably within software, XR, or training products. - Familiarity with VR training workflows and immersive user experience design is an advantage. - Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing priorities in a full-time role.
