Product SME - Crane operations

Aatral is an innovation-driven XR company specializing in immersive training solutions for safety-critical industries. We are expanding our VR training portfolio with a focus on crane operations and safety, encompassing both cabin-based and EOT cranes. As a dedicated Full-Time Product Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Crane operations at Aatral, you will play a crucial role in leading the product lifecycle of our VR crane handling and safety training solution. This position requires close collaboration with SMEs, designers, and developers to define the product direction, execute the roadmap, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, industry-aligned training experience. Your responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the product vision and roadmap for VR crane training modules. You will prioritize features, enhancements, and user stories based on client needs, safety protocols, and market demand. Additionally, you will translate business and training objectives into clear product requirements and collaborate with SMEs to uphold the accuracy and real-world relevance of crane operation and safety principles. In this role, you will review development builds regularly, providing actionable feedback to ensure alignment with training objectives and product quality standards. Collaboration with XR developers, instructional designers, QA, and hardware teams will be essential, and active participation in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives is expected. The ideal candidate for this position is an SME in crane operations, possessing a strong understanding of industrial safety practices. Experience in product ownership or product management roles, preferably within software, XR, or training products, is advantageous. Familiarity with VR training workflows and immersive user experience design would be a plus. Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary to effectively manage priorities in this full-time role. Additional details about this position include an initial contract of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time. An immediate start is preferred for this opportunity.,
