Product Quality Assurance/Control Entry Professional

Role Overview: As an Inspection and Test Plan Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring 100% quality with the highest safety in GIS processes. Your main responsibilities will include developing Inspection and Test Plans for new installations, extensions, and service projects, creating method statements and risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Inspection and Test Plan for new installations, extension, and/or service projects according to specific requirements - Create method statements, risk assessments, and other field service-related documents for projects - Ensure all method statements and Inspection and Test Plans adhere to the latest working procedures and safety instructions - Implement the Safety-First Policy in project-specific method statements and risk assessments - Identify potential safety issues in practices and processes - Maintain direct contact with end customers, project managers, and field service teams to gather relevant site information - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines - Live by Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Diploma in engineering (Electrical) - 4+ years of experience in quality function for high voltage products - Understanding of GIS-CH end-to-end processes in installation and commissioning of GIS - Knowledge of site conditions in new installations, extension projects, and service projects - Background in O&M of electrical substations or demonstrable experience in service activities on energized substations - Familiarity with HSE requirements - Proficiency in MS-Office, Power BI, or any other Business Intelligence tool - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work in offshore/remote locations - Stakeholder management through continuous interaction with Business Leaders and Partners - Proficiency in spoken & written English language Note: Hitachi Energy offers reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
