Product Owner

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

Contribute to defining and executing the product/platform vision and roadmap.
Support Product Managers in delivering desired outcomes across the product lifecyclefrom discovery to delivery.
Perform market and user research to influence product direction and prioritization.
Translate product value roadmaps into actionable and prioritized backlogs.

Product Development

Create, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, tech, data) to ensure seamless execution.
Drive agile product delivery by ensuring timely sprints and demos.
Support GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies and participate in product demos.

Market & Customer Insights

Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities.
Define product differentiation and partner ecosystem strategies.
Collaborate in discovery sprints and support the creation of wireframes and journey maps.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

Inspire and motivate cross-functional product teams.
Facilitate communication and influence change across organizational boundaries.
Champion best practices in Agile, Scrum, and modern product management methodologies.

Outcomes & Metrics

Timely product roll-outs as per roadmap
Achievement of OKRs and product performance metrics
Effective user story writing and documentation
Team satisfaction and performance in product delivery
Certifications earned and applied domain expertise

Skills & Competencies

Core Skills

Writing clear, concise, and value-driven user stories
Supporting and leading product demos and discovery sprints
Understanding of market trends, partner ecosystems, and competitive strategy
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Technical Skills

Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards, Trello)
Good understanding of SDLC and emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain)
Ability to work across distributed and remote teams
Strong presentation and analytical skills

Domain Knowledge

Working knowledge of standard business processes in Finance, HR Services, or FinTech
Familiarity with compliance domains such as I-9, Pay Statements, and Unemployment Claims

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification
5+ years of experience in product management or ownership roles in B2B environments
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
Previous experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
