About The Role As a Product Owner in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Solutions Unit, you will drive the development of innovative products within the P&C Solutions portfolio You will own the product backlog, shape the product roadmap, and ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions that address critical business needs and strengthen Swiss Res market position in Solutions space, Key Responsibilities Include Partner with the Product Management Group and P&C Solutions business stakeholders to understand business challenges, customer needs, and define key product capabilities for assigned products, Work with the Leadership & Product management group to establish and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), defining clear success metrics and tracking progress regularly, Own and manage the product backlog, refining prioritized features into clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria to maintain a healthy backlog, Set sprint goals, manage scope, and oversee deliverables for each release, ensuring alignment with business objectives, Lead design deep-dives and backlog grooming sessions to clarify requirements and provide actionable guidance to Scrum teams, Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather integration and operational requirements, ensuring seamless product functionality and alignment with business processes, Oversee user acceptance testing, gather feedback, and iterate on features to enhance user experience and optimize business outcomes, About The Team The global P&C Solutions Engineering team is responsible for team, you will contribute to a dynamic, innovative group at the forefront of technological advancements in the reinsurance industry, About You To excel in this role, you will bring: Over eight years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with a proven track record in product lifecycle management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering customer-focused solutions, At least five years of experience in property and claims management systems or related domains, with knowledge of P&C insurance or reinsurance business processes considered a strong asset, General understanding of the Natural Catastrophe (NatCat) perils domain, including familiarity with natural disaster risks and their impact on insurance processes, Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders across IT and business units, A hands-on approach to product ownership, with expertise in defining and prioritizing product backlogs, writing user stories, and aligning deliverables with business goals, Strong technical acumen, with experience delivering IT projects, including cloud-based solutions, and familiarity with modern tools and platforms, Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to addressing complex challenges while incorporating creative input from stakeholders, Proven experience applying Agile methodologies (e-g, Scrum, Kanban) and fostering collaboration across diverse cultures, geographies, and organizational levels, A commitment to continuous learning, staying informed about industry trends, and driving personal growth to enhance product delivery, Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, roadmap, and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences, An outcome-driven mindset, focused on delivering high-quality products and services on time while meeting customer and business needs, The
