Product Owner II

You will be joining the Product Management team at Hy-Vee, Inc. to oversee the development, launch, and continuous improvement of products by aligning with business objectives and understanding customer needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Helping execute the vision and strategy for product implementation and integration within the Hy-Vee product ecosystem. - Interfacing with key individuals from the business team and management to capture requirements. - Distilling large initiatives into a deliverable roadmap. - Curating the product backlog. - Ensuring that production vision and technical execution are in harmony by working with technical team members. - Being organized and detail-oriented. Your secondary responsibilities will involve attending and participating in meetings, providing assistance to Support Service personnel, and undertaking other job-related duties and special projects as required. To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and abilities: - Effective and patient communication skills to translate technical and non-technical issues to various team members. - Proven ability to guide the definition and refinement of product vision and strategy. - Cross-functional leadership skills to execute product strategy. - Several years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner. - Experience working in an environment with a Continuous Discovery/Delivery mindset. - Multiple years of experience collaborating directly with software engineers. - Ability to quickly learn new domains. - Desire for personal growth through continuous learning. - Proficiency in arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages. - Strong written communication skills, technical data evaluation ability, and counseling skills. In terms of Education & Experience, you should have a Bachelor's degree in fields such as computer science, software engineering, business administration, management, information technology, marketing, or retail management. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of similar or related work experience is required for this position.,
