Product Owner II

You will be part of the Product Management team at Hy-Vee, Inc., an employee-owned chain of supermarkets with an annual revenue exceeding $14 billion. The Helpful Smiles Technology Global Center (HST Global) in Bangalore is a division of the Hy-Vee IT team, supporting the company's growth and modernization efforts by leveraging technology. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Hy-Vee's retail technology transformation, collaborate with global counterparts, and work on IT challenges both locally and remotely. Your primary responsibilities will include executing product vision and strategy, collaborating with business units to gather requirements, managing product backlogs, and ensuring alignment between production vision and technical execution. You will also attend meetings, provide support to service personnel, and engage in special projects as needed. To excel in this role, you should possess effective communication skills, the ability to define and refine product strategies, and demonstrate cross-functional leadership capabilities. Previous experience as a Product Owner, familiarity with Continuous Discovery/Delivery practices, and the willingness to learn new domains are essential. Additionally, a bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience are required.
