Roles and Responsibilities of a Product Owner for Issuer Services 1. Product Vision & Strategy: Develop Product Vision: Dene a clear and compelling product vision for issuer services related to ADRs, GDNs, and bonds. This vision should align with the companys broader business goals while addressing market demands and regulatory changes. Strategic Roadmap: Develop and manage a product roadmap, aligning short- term tactical goals with long-term strategic initiatives for ADRs, GDNs, and bonds, ensuring the oering remains competitive, compliant, and innovative. 2. Market & Stakeholder Engagement: Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business teams (e.g., sales, legal, compliance, operations, IT) to understand business needs, regulatory changes, and market dynamics. 3. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: ¢ Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure issuer services related to ADRs, GDNs, and bonds are fully compliant with local, national, and international regulations. This includes understanding SEC regulations (for ADRs), tax laws, listing requirements, and bond issuance regulations. 4. Issuance Process Management: ¢ ADR & GDN Issuance: Oversee the processes related to the issuance of ADRs and GDNs, ensuring that corporate issuers meet all the necessary requirements to create and trade these depositary receipts. ¢ Bond Issuance: Manage the issuance process for debt securities, such as corporate bonds, government bonds, and municipal bonds. Oversee the process from structuring and registration to public or private oering and settlement. ¢ Cross-Border Considerations: For ADRs and GDNs, facilitate cross-border transactions and ensure the smooth ow of securities between dierent countries, managing the complexities of dierent time zones, regulations, and taxation. 5. Product Development & Backlog Management:

Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the features, improvements, and xes align with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and market needs for ADRs, GDNs, and bonds. ¢ ¢ User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Write clear, actionable user stories, functional specications, and acceptance criteria for the development and enhancement of issuer services for ADRs, GDNs, and bonds. Prioritize Features: Balance the development of new features with necessary updates, bug xes, and compliance improvements to meet the needs of issuers, investors, and regulators. 6. Technology & Process Optimization: ¢ Tech Stack & Platform Optimization: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that the technology platforms supporting ADRs, GDNs, and bonds are robust, secure, and scalable. Work on integrating innovative technologies like blockchain or smart contracts where relevant. 10. Innovation & Future Trends: ¢ Exploring Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on emerging technologies, such as blockchain and digital assets, that could improve the issuance and settlement of ADRs, GDNs, and bonds. Drive initiatives for innovation in the issuer services space. Skills & Qualities Required: ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ Deep Knowledge of Capital Markets: Expertise in ADR, GDN, and bond markets, including issuance processes, regulations, and operational workows. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant securities laws, including cross-border regulations, tax treaties, and bond issuance frameworks. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex nancial products to a diverse range of stakeholders, including issuers, investors, legal teams, and developers. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with the technological platforms used in issuing, settling, and tracking ADRs, GDNs, and bonds, including data security and blockchain. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market data, track performance, and identify trends or improvements based on metrics and feedback.
