Product Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented engineer to contribute to the development and validation of electronic control units (ECUs) and embedded systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery aligned with performance, compliance, and customer expectations.

System Design & Requirements

• Gather and analyze system requirements from customers and key stakeholders
• Define functional specifications and process workflows
• Design system architecture and allocate functions across hardware and software components
• Evaluate calculator functionalities and address performance constraints

Product Development & Integration

• Translate product requirements into robust design implementations
• Integrate software and FPGA modules onto the hardware platform
• Contribute to the development of integration and verification strategies for ECUs using automated test benches
• Support decisions related to production strategy, including MAKE or BUY assessments
• Assist in shaping the product roadmap and long-term technical vision

Testing & Validation

• Develop and document test procedures and automation scripts
• Execute verification protocols using Python or equivalent tools to ensure thorough test coverage
• Conduct laboratory testing of ECUs to validate performance and reliability
• Participate in software-hardware integration testing and debugging

Analysis & Compliance

• Investigate technical issues and assist in root cause analysis
• Ensure product compliance with relevant quality standards, norms, and industry regulations

Collaboration & Reporting

• Actively participate in regular project team meetings and report progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align development efforts with project goals

Preferred candidate profile

• You thrive in environments that blend technology and innovation across digital systems, hardware, and software domains
• You have hands-on experience with system architecture, embedded development, and validation processes
• You are familiar with multidisciplinary engineering challenges and enjoy solving complex problems
• Familiarity with aeronautical standards (ARP4754, DO-254, DO-160, DO-178)
• Knowledge of digital buses (ARINC, CAN, 1553, A664)
• Rigorous, autonomous, and collaborative mindset
