Product Engineer, Automation

Role Overview: As a Product Engineer, Automation at Synchrony, you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge tech stack and solutions that redefine industry standards. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade bots using Automation Anywhere. You will work on critical applications and contribute to automating manual processes to ensure smooth transactions for millions of cardholders. Key Responsibilities: - Create end-to-end Robotic Process Automation solutions using Automation Anywhere for various manual processes - Code and configure automation process components based on Process Automation Document (PAD) to meet defined requirements - Validate automations through unit testing and maintain configuration control at all times - Analyze business processes in detail, provide inputs for process analysis, and participate in agile ceremonies - Design RPA solutions following standard design principles, object design instructions, and solution design documentation - Configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles for efficiency and maintainability - Perform testing activities including build testing, unit testing, UAT testing, and provide timely solutions for issues that arise Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline or MCA with 4+ years of IT experience - Automation Anywhere Certification and experience in developing bots using Automation Anywhere - Hands-on experience with Bot migrations from one version to another (V11 to A360) - Proficiency in programming, SQL, relational databases, and application development - Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies Additional Company Details: Synchrony has been recognized for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, offering flexibility and choice to employees.
