PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Role Overview: As a Product Development professional with 2-3 years of experience in the harness field or Automobile industry, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing design prototypes, analyzing new components, materials, and technologies, and designing innovative production techniques. You should possess skills such as creative thinking, problem-solving, and a sound knowledge of Computer-Aided design (CAD) software. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and review design prototypes, perform tests, and finalize product design to facilitate mass production. - Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionality for all new product development. - Analyze product cost and prepare schedule plans for effective implementation of projects. - Design innovative production techniques and provide support to existing ones for new design roll-out. - Conceptualizing new product ideas by using CAD software to design prototypes. - Designing parts, fixtures, and tooling to support development. - Analyze feasibility, cost, and return on investment for product ideas. Qualifications Required: - Able to organize and manage multiple tasks. - Creative thinking & Problem-solving skills. - A sound knowledge of Computer-Aided design (CAD) software, technical drawings, and 3D modeling. - Independently determine the approach to assigned tasks. - Analytical and Numeracy skills. - Decision-making skills with high attention to detail.,
