Role Overview: As a Product Designer III at Navi in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for millions of customers using Navis financial services. Your work will involve tackling complex design challenges, creating intuitive interfaces, and leading by example to mentor junior designers and advocate for a design-first approach within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Own the end-to-end design lifecycle of key product initiatives, from ideation to implementation. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to define the product vision with a focus on user-centric outcomes. - Influence and shape the overall design direction of Navis product ecosystem in alignment with the company's mission and vision. - Conduct in-depth user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. - Translate complex user journeys into elegant interfaces that meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and aesthetics. - Design scalable systems and components to ensure consistency across multiple platforms. - Explore emerging design trends and tools to push creative boundaries. - Establish and enforce design standards, patterns, and frameworks to elevate the quality of work across the team. - Collaborate closely with engineers to maintain design fidelity throughout the development process. - Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented design culture. - Advocate for a design-first mindset by communicating the value of design to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional experience in product design, focusing on user-centered design solutions. - Extensive experience in designing digital-first products within fintech, e-commerce, or similar domains. - Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, or similar platforms. - Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards. - Ability to create interactive prototypes and effectively test concepts with users. - Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) to bridge the gap between design and development. - Passion for Navis mission and vision, with a drive to create meaningful impact. - Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
