Product Designer and Merchandiser

You are a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer & Merchandiser joining the design team at The House Of Things in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Your role involves ideating, designing, and merchandising luxury lifestyle and home accessories that resonate with the brand's ethos. Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and the sales team is essential to ensure successful product development and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities include designing accessories that embody the brand's luxury aesthetic, creating prototypes, developing visual renderings and technical drawings, coordinating material sourcing, curating gifting merchandise, and supporting space planning for projects. To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in Product Design, Accessory Design, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of experience in product or lifestyle accessory design. A keen eye for luxury, craftsmanship, and trend forecasting is crucial, as well as proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Strong communication, multitasking, and vendor management skills are also key requirements for this position.,
