Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the production of mechanical components including wiring harnesses, sheet metal parts, and plastic components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of projects. Utilize SAP MM for effective material management and procurement processes. Implement APQP systems to enhance product quality and compliance. Conduct part costing and negotiate with suppliers to optimize expenses. Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in component development. Experience Required: 4-8 years of experience with PPAP and APQP processes in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in working with vendors and internal teams on NPD (New Product Development) timelines. Well-versed in plastic injection molding and tooling processes for component manufacturing. Strong understanding of BOM creation, change management, and product lifecycle in SAP MM. Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for component failures. Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 and other relevant quality standards. Education: B.E., B.Tech, Diploma.
