Procurement Specialist Buyer

Role & responsibilities:- Forecast-Driven Procurement: Develop and share demand forecasts with suppliers, initiating timely purchase orders (POs) and inter-plant orders (IPOs) to meet production needs. Proactive Supplier Follow-up: Diligently track order progress, expedite deliveries, and maintain strong communication with suppliers to ensure on-time material availability. Optimal Inventory Management: Implement and monitor inventory levels, conduct regular checks, and drive strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. ECN Implementation: Manage the material impact of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) by coordinating with relevant teams and ensuring smooth transitions. Customs Clearance Collaboration: Provide necessary documentation and support to the logistics team for efficient customs clearance of incoming shipments. Performance Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze KPIs, CPL, and inventory reports to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Monthly Financial Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliation of POs, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Non-Moving Inventory Resolution: Proactively identify and follow up on non-moving inventory to determine root causes and implement appropriate solutions. Obsolete Inventory Control: Manage and control potentially obsolete materials through proactive identification and collaboration on disposition strategies. Unique Parts Service Support: Track and ensure the timely availability of unique service parts to meet maintenance requirements and minimize downtime. Supply Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential supply chain risks based on forecasts, lead times, and supplier performance, and implement mitigation plans. System Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement, inventory, and supplier-related data within the relevant systems. Knowledge and Skills required:- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP MM) for material management. Strong data handling and reporting abilities, coupled with excellent English communication (written & verbal). Understanding of system configurations and integration. In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module functionalities. Effective utilization of SAP reporting and master data management. Preferred Male from EMS Industry
