Process/Manufacturing Engineer-Intermediate

As part of Filtrex Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a global industrial organization under Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, you will play a significant role in product development. Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing, designing, and developing products and components that meet customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing feasibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable process designs. You will closely work with Process Engineering, Product Development, Production, and Quality functions to develop Product & Process Jigs and Fixtures. Additionally, you will be involved in the design and implementation of Automation Projects aimed at improving plant productivity. Specific responsibilities include working on Product Jigs and Fixtures, plastic molds manufacturing feasibility, extrusion tooling and fixtures design, compression molding process equipment design, assembly automation, and participating in NPD launch program. Your role will also involve conceptualization and design activities such as collaborating with product management and engineering teams to understand customer requirements, developing conceptual designs based on functional requirements, creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, conducting feasibility studies, and design reviews. You will be responsible for coordinating prototype fabrication and testing activities, conducting design validation tests, and analyzing test data to identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, you will be required to communicate design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop assembly instructions and quality control procedures, and support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Your involvement in process integration, Lean Journey programs, VAVE Projects, SOP development, and process safety enhancement will be crucial for the organization's success.
