Role & responsibilities Job role: Senior Process Engineer who is a highly motivate to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The successful candidate must have experience in executing projects for the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries with the highest level of quality, cost effectiveness, and time execution Main general responsibilities: Prepare PFDs, DPDTs and P&IDs / line list. Development and supervision of hydraulic calculations, heat and material balance, utilities summaries and calculations Development and supervision of flare calculations flare load summaries. Development and supervision of process studies, simulations, and data gathering and consolation. Prepare the respective reports and documentation Support other disciplines. Process Specialist : To prepare/ review/ check/comment following type of documents Process Design Basis Process basic calculations (HMB consistency check mass, molar and energy balance); Process engineering calculations (line sizing, pump hydraulics, equipment sizing); References for calculations, physical properties, , Pinch study & analysis of energy conservation Opportunities; Pump and compressor head calculations; PSV and safety devices; PSV scenario identifications and calculation of respective relieving capacity; Flare Header sizing; etc) Engineering drawings like PFDs, MSDs and P&IDs Line lists to support P&IDs (inclusive of operating and design conditions, test pressure, insulation requirement with thickness); Tracing & insulation requirements. Materials inventory and usage summary; Equipment datasheets - like reactors, vessels, tanks, columns, heat exchangers, pump, compressor, filters, mixers, agitators, packages, etc Input to hazardous area classification drawings Environmental loads and treatment Noise Protection requirements Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Basic Process Control System. Front end engineering design (FEED) Preferred candidate profile Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role Bachelor in chemical engineering. Strong knowledge process engineering calculations and process computer commercial programs such as Aspen Hysys Commitment and proactivity. Technical Skills (including years of experience if need be) Desirable/Essential Hydraulic calculations - Essential Aspen Hysys and/or Unisim - Essential Aspen Flare System - Essential PipeSim or similar software - Desirable Equipment design - Essential Instrumentation specification - Essential
