Process Engineer

As a Senior Process Engineer at our client's office in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in designing and constructing plants to meet the production needs of various industries such as clean fuels, petrochemicals, power, hydrogen, bioenergy, and fertilizers. Your primary responsibility will be to execute projects in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical sectors with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and possess 10-15 years of experience in pre-FEED, FEED, and Detail engineering. Proficiency in conducting chemical/process engineering calculations using tools like Aspen Hysys is essential. Your commitment and proactive approach will be key to your success in this position. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and supervising hydraulic calculations, heat and material balances, utilities summaries, and flare load summaries. You will also be involved in process studies, simulations, and data gathering, in addition to preparing reports and documentation. Collaboration with other disciplines to support project requirements will be an integral part of your role. In terms of technical skills, expertise in hydraulic calculations, Aspen Hysys, Aspen Flare System, control narrative development, equipment design, and instrumentation specifications is crucial for this position. Familiarity with software tools like PipeSim will be an added advantage.
