Private Credit Specialist

As a Private Credit Analyst at VOYA INDIA, your role involves analyzing credit and investment characteristics of borrowing entities described in the Private Placement Offerings (PPO). You will be responsible for researching and spreading financial statements, evaluating transaction credit quality, and forming independent views. Your duties also include communicating and negotiating transaction details with issuers and their advisors, presenting conclusions and recommendations to team leaders, preparing written analyses for the credit committee, and conducting due diligence through conversations with company management and on-site visits. Monitoring credit quality, maintaining borrower communication, and organizing private credit portfolio files are essential tasks. To excel in this position, you must possess a minimum Bachelors degree with a preference for a CFA Designation or equivalent. A minimum of 6 years of corporate credit experience is required, along with expertise in underwriting corporate credit, evaluating structure and documentation, and interacting with borrowers and intermediaries. Strong credit skills, familiarity with loan documents and covenant packages, advanced Excel proficiency, and a solid understanding of global accounting standards are crucial. Your ability to proactively engage with transaction counterparties and investor clients, along with excellent customer orientation, intellectual curiosity, planning, and organizing skills will be key to success. You should be adept at working both autonomously and collaboratively, adapting to varying workloads and strict deadlines. Problem-solving, relationship-building, and team interaction skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft platforms and other PC-based software. Given the nature of our organization as a relatively flat structure, a congenial yet professional attitude is expected. Flexibility to work in shifts is required to meet the demands of the role.
