Role & responsibilities The Private Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for providing personalized financial services to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). This role focuses on managing client relationships, offering tailored wealth management solutions, and ensuring exceptional client service. The Private Banking Relationship Manager will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and develop strategies to manage, preserve, and grow their wealth. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients. Understand clients' financial goals, objectives, and risk tolerance. Provide personalized financial advice and solutions across a range of products and services (e.g., investment management, estate planning, tax strategies, lending). Meet with clients regularly to review portfolios, address any concerns, and suggest new opportunities. Respond to client inquiries and provide proactive communication on market developments and account performance. Wealth Management & Investment Advisory: Advise clients on portfolio management, investment strategies, asset allocation, and risk management. Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., portfolio managers, financial planners, tax advisors) to deliver integrated financial solutions. Continuously monitor the performance of clients portfolios and make necessary adjustments in response to market changes or evolving client needs. Provide insights on investment opportunities, market trends, and global financial news that may impact clients’ portfolios. Sales and Business Development: Actively seek to acquire new clients and expand the existing client base. Promote and cross-sell private banking products and services, such as loans, mortgages, investment funds, and insurance. Identify opportunities to increase revenue through up-selling or cross-selling relevant products. Develop a network of external contacts (e.g., attorneys, accountants, family offices) to generate referrals and new business. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all client transactions and activities comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Monitor clients’ financial situations and risk exposure to ensure they align with their financial goals and risk tolerance. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with clients' portfolios or financial activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, and conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Client Retention and Service: Provide a high level of client service, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Handle complex or sensitive client issues and resolve any complaints promptly. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Organize and host client events, seminars, and webinars to engage clients and educate them on financial matters.
