Principle Engineer-SSD Firmware Validation

As a Principal Engineer specializing in SSD Firmware Validation at Micron Technology, you will be part of a dynamic team striving to transform information into intelligence, inspiring advancements in learning, communication, and technology at an accelerated pace. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans encompassing access patterns, NVMe protocols, FW test hooks, and VS commands for various areas of firmware such as Front End, Back End, FTL, and Security. Furthermore, you will play a key role in integrating tests into an automated environment and collaborating with test execution teams to drive validation plans and strategies. Proficiency in Linux operating system debugging, Python coding, effective communication, analytical thinking, and project management will be essential in this role. Your ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, strong planning and tracking skills, and excellent time management will be valuable assets. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering and possess 7-11 years of experience in SSD Firmware Validation.
