Job Description

As a Virtualization Engineer, your role will involve designing, deploying, and managing KVM-based virtualization environments to meet organizational requirements. You will utilize Apache CloudStack for orchestration, configuration management, and provisioning of virtual resources. Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible and Python to automate tasks like provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management will be essential. Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code principles to ensure consistency and repeatability in deployments is a key aspect of the role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage KVM-based virtualization environments - Leverage Apache CloudStack for orchestration and provisioning of virtual resources - Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python - Implement Infrastructure-as-Code principles for consistent deployments - Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource allocation - Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness in virtualized environments - Implement security best practices, compliance measures, and conduct regular security audits - Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex virtualization issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience - Minimum of 12+ years of experience in designing and managing KVM-based virtualization environments - Hands-on expertise with Apache CloudStack for orchestration and management of virtualized infrastructure - Strong scripting skills in Ansible and Python for infrastructure automation - Familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies and experience in deploying and managing virtualized instances on AWS cloud - Solid understanding of networking concepts, storage technologies, and virtualization architectures - Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and provide effective solutions - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment - Relevant certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar credentials preferred,
