We are seeking a Virtualization Engineer with a strong technical background in Linux, specializing in KVM-based virtualization, and proficient in managing infrastructure using Apache CloudStack as an orchestration layer. The ideal candidate should have expertise in automation, utilizing Ansible and Python scripting to streamline operations and enhance scalability in virtualized environments. Knowledge of VMware and AWS experience would be advantageous. As a Virtualization Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing KVM-based virtualization environments to meet organizational requirements. You will leverage Apache CloudStack for orchestration, configuration management, and provisioning of virtual resources. Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible and Python to automate tasks like provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management will be essential. Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code principles to ensure consistency and repeatability in deployments is a key aspect of the role. Monitoring virtualization infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing resource allocation will be part of your daily tasks. Proactively ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness in virtualized environments is crucial. Security best practices and compliance measures need to be implemented, along with conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments promptly. Providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex virtualization issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents are also part of the role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 12+ years of experience in designing and managing KVM-based virtualization environments is required. Hands-on expertise with Apache CloudStack for orchestration and the management of virtualized infrastructure is essential. Strong scripting skills in Ansible and Python for infrastructure automation are needed, along with familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies and experience in deploying and managing virtualized instances on AWS cloud. A solid understanding of networking concepts, storage technologies, and virtualization architectures is expected. You should have the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and provide effective solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment are crucial. Possessing relevant certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar credentials would be preferred.,
