Job Description

As a Principal Networking Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex business requirements into robust network solutions. Your deep technical expertise will be utilized to create technology roadmaps aligning with strategic direction, business needs, and resource constraints. Your responsibilities will include leading the analysis and development of long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets current and future demands. Acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients, you will provide pre-sales support and design solutions tailored to their specific requirements. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key, as you work on designing comprehensive solutions encompassing physical domains, networking protocols, cloud services, and hardware. You will be responsible for developing technical specifications, overseeing proof of concept initiatives, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery. In this role, you will be involved in producing detailed technical design documents, creating network diagrams, and influencing the sales team. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing client engagements and ensuring technical solutions align with organizational capabilities and client needs. To excel in this position, you should possess a deep understanding of network protocols, topologies, and security, along with proficiency in routing, switching, wireless networks, and IP addressing. Knowledge of IoT, big data, network management, virtualization, and cloud computing is essential. Practical experience in software development, systems design, networking, or infrastructure within a large-scale technology services environment is required. Familiarity with project management methodologies and client engagement skills are also necessary. Effective collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders are vital aspects of this role. A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
