Job Description

Role Overview: As a Principal Systems Design / Architecture Engineer at NTT DATA, you will be a highly skilled subject matter expert responsible for defining the architecture for large systems. Your role will involve conducting system design activities to ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements. You will lead architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems to support and solve complex business and technical problems. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise on system design activities and review application, software, and system components across various technology stacks. - Ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements. - Review existing system architecture and recommend improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Lead the investigation and scoping of change requests to estimate work scale and required input. - Determine system loads and volumes to input infrastructure requirements. - Align proposed and existing systems architectures with the company's goals and strategies. - Enable the design and development of new systems and solutions. - Ensure new systems and solutions conform to current system architecture or strategic direction. - Lead architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems to support complex business and technical problems. - Deliver system architecture as robust and scalable solutions to business problems and needs. - Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to eliminate factors hindering the delivery of architectural solutions. - Advise on specifications for solutions" functional and technical requirements and implementation phases. - Implement architectural governance, standards, and metrics for improving architecture. - Proactively identify potential problems remediable by more effective architectural solutions. - Perform any other related tasks as required. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Recommended certifications such as Cloud (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect); TOGAF preferred.
