Principal Software Development Engineer

You are a motivated, experienced, and skilled engineer sought by Autodesk to join the Connected Delivery platform team. This platform facilitates the discovery, download, and installation of Autodesk products, services, and third-party apps. Your role involves building a resilient, scalable, and highly available full-stack application. The ideal candidate has experience leading teams in developing modern web experiences with cloud services in an agile environment. Your responsibilities include leading, designing, and developing high-quality, secure, performant applications, providing project and team leadership, participating in agile ceremonies, collaborating with product managers to understand requirements, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring 24/7 platform availability by responding to incidents on weekends. Minimum qualifications include a BS in computer science or a related field, over 8 years of experience in developing scalable applications, strong leadership experience, proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, C#, NextJS, and NestJS, expertise in RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture, familiarity with AWS, databases, and cloud architectures, and a deep understanding of Agile processes.
