Job Description

As a Principal Quality Operations Specialist at Lutech Resources, you will be responsible for interpreting internal and external business challenges in the operations discipline. Your role demands specialized depth and breadth of expertise in operations to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities: - Visit and perform inspections at suppliers" premises/sites to determine product conformity to Purchase Orders (PO), drawings, data sheets, and technical specifications through inspection and tests per Quality/Inspection & Test Plans. - Liaise with Manager Assurance, Source Inspection Coordinator (SIC), Package Manager/Engineer, Assurance Specialist, Discipline Engineer, Expeditor, Certifying Authority, Customer representatives, and Suppliers. - Lead inspection activities on critical packages to ensure product conformance based on approved documents and latest deliverables. - Appraise product quality in line with Purchase Orders/Purchase Requisitions, Technical Specifications, drawings, and Quality Plans. - Ensure no open Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on the equipment/package before release. - Conduct In-process, Final Inspection, and Witness Factory Acceptance Test per approved procedures and project specifications. - Perform quality audits and surveillance to assess supplier compliance with approved procedures and verify the effectiveness of the Supplier Quality System. - Review inspection assignment package, identify change and progress issues, and liaise with Package Manager and Manager Assurance. - Attend various meetings as required, issue Meeting Minutes (MOM), and prepare necessary reports. - Sign off on Inspection and Test plans, prepare Supplier Inspection Reports (SIR), and document all inspection results including non-conformances for corrective action. - Identify outstanding work, record in a punch list format, and attach to the Supplier inspection report/Inspection release. - Monitor project document requirements and progress to the final data dossier following the approved Manufacturers Data Record or Quality dossier index. - Stamp and sign all reviewed documents/test reports/certificates and actively monitor inspection activities to eliminate potential quality issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent. - 15+ years of experience in source inspection of critical packages such as Static equipment's, Rotary Equipment's, Structural and Piping bulks, Skid Mounted Equipment's, Line pipe, etc. - NDT Level-II certification in PT, MT, UT, RT. - Welding Inspector certification in AWS/CSWIP.
