Principal Officer/Compliance Manager

As a Principal Officer (PO) in this role, you will be expected to operate at a management level and focus exclusively on responsibilities outlined in chapter IV of the PML Act. It is crucial that you refrain from involvement in any business or other operations to avoid conflicts of interest. Your primary responsibility will involve full-time engagement with a VDA SP, without undertaking any other concurrent engagements in any capacity. You should possess a sufficient level of seniority in the organizational hierarchy to act autonomously in carrying out your duties, free from corporate bureaucracies and undue influences. To excel in this position, you must have a strong understanding of the legal aspects related to the AML framework and possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience and skills. It is essential to be well-versed in ML/TF risks and vulnerabilities specific to the country, your organization, and the sector of VDA SPs. Additionally, staying informed about emerging ML/TF trends and typologies is key to fulfilling your obligations under the PML Act, PML Rules, and associated regulations.,
