Principal Engineer

We are looking to hire .NET C# Professionals with the following responsibilities for the position of Principal Engineer: Research, design, develop, and release/maintain various software applications such as Application, User Interface, Data Analysis, and Instrument Control software for thermal analysis, rheological, and calorimetric instruments. Evaluate system specifications and translate system requirements into task specifications. Provide ongoing support for current programs, including performance evaluation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problematic programming. Work within a formal development process covering the full development lifecycle. Utilize code design abilities to generate and document appropriate designs, working in collaboration with the agile team and experts to implement these designs. Provide code and supporting documentation in accordance with coding guidelines, quality processes, and applicable procedures. Generate automated and manual tests to verify implemented software and contribute to continuous improvement of software quality, work processes, and individual skills. Contribute to the application architecture focusing on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance, and offer product-specific and technical support to internal and external users. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experiences: C# and/or other .Net Programming experience with expert knowledge in applying technical standards. At least 10 years of experience in the field. Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, and decision-making skills, familiar with Agile methodologies. Ability to work closely with the management team to evaluate current systems and make design decisions for future development. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and integrate them into existing systems. Passion for software development, strong software design skills, and the ability to articulate experiences and knowledge effectively. Experience with WPF/WinForms, MVVM patterns. Desired qualifications include: Analytical or Medical device experience. Experience with TCP/IP Socket Communications and RS232-Serial communications.
