Principal engineer- Platform

You should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in developing large-scale applications, particularly at startups during their growth phase. Your expertise should include working with frontend technologies such as vue.js or react.js, as well as a strong background in at least one backend framework, preferably express.js. Proficiency in a programming language, particularly Javascript or GoLang, is essential along with the capability to write maintainable, scalable, and unit-testable code. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure management. A solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms is crucial. Your passion for solving complex problems should reflect in your work, and you must possess a good grasp of various database technologies with well-thought opinions on their use cases. Experience in performance monitoring and scaling backend services, as well as familiarity with microservices and distributed systems, is preferred. Team management skills are also desirable, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Good to have would be prior work on products targeting an international audience and scaling to millions of users.
