Description
As a Principal Engineer IAM at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the acceleration of a new digital platform capability. Your main focus will be on transforming and modernizing our digital estate to create a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its core. You will collaborate closely with business aligned engineering and product teams to ensure a culture of collaboration and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** - Hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and running ForgeRock COTS based IAM solutions (Ping Gateway, Ping AM, Ping IDM, Ping DS) - Designing and implementing cloud-based, scalable, and resilient IAM solutions for large corporate organizations - Expertise in IAM engineering across various areas such as authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, identity lifecycle management, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and policy management - Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Python, API, and microservices development - Strong working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles - Experience with Cloud computing, with AWS being essential and Azure being a plus - Knowledge of DevSecOps, Infrastructure as a Code tooling (Chef, Ansible), containerization, authentication, and biometric system design - Open-source experience **Qualifications Required:** - Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock COTS based IAM solutions - Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Python, API, and microservices development - Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles - Experience with Cloud computing, especially AWS - Familiarity with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as a Code tooling, containerization, and authentication systems This role will be based out of our Pune office. In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence and innovation by leading the design and implementation of robust software solutions. You will provide mentorship to engineering teams, promote cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to strategic planning to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. As a Vice President in this position, you are expected to contribute to setting strategy, driving requirements, and making recommendations for change. You will plan resources, budgets, and policies, manage and maintain policies/processes, deliver continuous improvements, and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
