Principal Engineer

Role Overview: As a Principal Full Stack Developer at our company, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications. Your role will involve driving architectural decisions, mentoring teams, and ensuring best practices are followed across the full development lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise in ReactJS, Next.js, Node.js, AWS, GraphQL, Jest, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and high-performance applications. - Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. - Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to design system solutions. - Build end-to-end features using ReactJS/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js/AWS Lambdas (backend). - Design and implement APIs using GraphQL and REST where appropriate. - Ensure test coverage and reliability through unit/integration testing with Jest. - Drive CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automation for efficiency and reliability. - Mentor and guide engineers, ensuring continuous technical growth within the team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI, QA, and DevOps. - Lead technical discussions, proof of concepts, and design reviews. - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness on AWS Cloud. - Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting to maintain system reliability. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Experience: 10+ years of professional full-stack development experience. - Frontend: ReactJS, Next.js, modern UI design principles. - Backend: Node.js, AWS Lambdas, microservices architecture. - Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+). - APIs: GraphQL, RESTful APIs. - Testing: Jest, unit and integration testing frameworks. - Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.). - CI/CD & Tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
