Principal Engineer, Cross Functional Services Engineering (CFSE)

As a Principal Engineer within the Cross Functional Services Engineering (CFSE) unit at Haleon, you will work collaboratively with a team of Principal Engineers and Senior Engineers to design and deliver solutions that meet the needs of both the CFSE unit and various business and technology stakeholders. In this role, you will also serve as a Product Owner for specific areas such as IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Employee Self Service, Strategic Portfolio Management, and others, primarily using platforms like ServiceNow and OpsRamp. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery, operation, and support of assigned Products, working closely with Service Operations Managers and Managed Service Provider teams. You will establish and nurture trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their business priorities and actively contributing to strategic planning. Additionally, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of solutions and maintain a High-Level Roadmap for the assigned Products. You will lead Product DevOps Squads in delivering new applications and capabilities using Agile methodologies, while also supporting and mentoring Managed Service Providers in their releases. Your role will involve applying Programme Management rigor to the workstack, collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture team, and providing both management and technical reporting as needed. To excel in this position, you should have a strong background in Enterprise Service Management systems, a proven track record in project-based delivery, and deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform. Your ability to think creatively and identify solutions that surpass stakeholder expectations will be crucial, along with your experience in platform and integration design. Moreover, your proficiency in enterprise architecture, stakeholder management, and effective delivery through third parties will be essential in this role.
