Principal Engineer - Bridges

Job Description

AECOM is seeking for a candidate to be based in Bangalore or Gurgaon with the following skill sets. Experience working on US/ME projects with good understanding of AASHTO/AREMA codes Experience on design of all types of Bridge structures, PSC, Concrete, Steel and Composite with good knowledge of Midas/LUSAS/SOFiSTiK Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for the team Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package. Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. Prepares technical specification sections. Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK). 9-12years experience in Bridges Undertake rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes from inspection and assessment, feasibility through to detailed design. Experience of Eurocodes, British Standards and assessment codes. Project management of schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management
